Dr. Anand founded Denwell in 2013 after eight years in emergency practice, wanting to build a clinic where the same doctor could actually follow a pet’s whole life instead of only meeting them in a crisis. She has a special interest in feline medicine — including handling techniques that keep cat visits low-stress — and in senior-pet wellness, where catching small changes early makes the biggest difference.
Outside the clinic she fosters senior cats for the local shelter and has a standing rule that any foster who hasn’t found a home by the six-month mark gets adopted by a staff member. Four have stayed at Denwell so far.
