Wellness Exams & Preventive Care
A full nose-to-tail exam and a preventive-care plan built around your pet's actual life stage — not a one-size-fits-all checklist.
- Full nose-to-tail physical exam
- Weight, dental, and mobility screening
Core vaccines every pet needs, plus lifestyle vaccines chosen for how your pet actually lives — boarding, dog parks, or mostly indoors.
Core vaccines protect against diseases that are severe, widespread, or a public-health concern, and we recommend them for essentially every patient: rabies (required by law), and the combination DHPP for dogs (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) or FVRCP for cats (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia).
Lifestyle vaccines are chosen with you based on real exposure risk rather than given automatically: bordetella and canine influenza for dogs that board, go to daycare, or visit dog parks; leptospirosis for dogs with any yard or trail exposure to standing water or wildlife; feline leukemia for cats that go outdoors or share a household with an unknown-status cat. If you’d rather test antibody titers before re-vaccinating a low-exposure adult pet, we offer that too and will walk you through what the results actually mean.
We'll confirm by phone or email — usually the same business day.
