Surgery

Spay/neuter, soft-tissue, and mass-removal surgery with pre-anesthetic bloodwork and multi-modal pain management as standard, not an upsell.

Overview

What this actually involves.

Our surgical suite handles the procedures most general practices see every week — spay and neuter, mass removals, biopsies, and common soft-tissue repairs — with the same pre-anesthetic bloodwork and continuous monitoring on every patient, regardless of age or how routine the procedure seems. For orthopedic work like cruciate repair or fracture fixation, we partner with a board-certified surgeon who operates out of our suite so your pet doesn’t have to travel to an unfamiliar clinic mid-treatment.

Pain management is planned before your pet ever goes under, not decided afterward: a multi-modal protocol combining pre-emptive pain control, local nerve blocks where appropriate, and a take-home plan means most patients are meaningfully more comfortable in the first 24 hours than owners expect. We call every surgical patient’s owner within a day or two after discharge to check on recovery, not just at the follow-up appointment.
